AbiWord heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van haar tekstverwerker. Het gaat om de versie 2.5.2 beta. Zo ondersteund de nieuwe versie importfilters voor OpenXML-bestanden en een Windows-port van de 'collaboration'-plug-in.
